The Strategic Assignment was one of my best assignments because it was simple and straightforward. I loved talking about Texas Tech Homecoming Parade because it is one of the funnest events that takes place at Texas Tech University. The tone of this news release was short and sweet, encouraging students and Lubbock residents to support the organizations participating in the event. This assignment had a few grammar and phrasing errors which were easily fixable. The final copy includes these corrections in the first paragraph. Rearranging the proper wording in the first paragraph made a significant improvement to the the rest of the assignment.
